Soup with stuffed peppers

With its deep, cozy flavor, it’s one of the most cozy soup recipes. It makes me think of growing up and returning home. This tasty soup has a lot of goodness in each dish.

You’ll adore how well-balanced and cozy this soup’s tastes are. The taste of the meat is infused with a flavor reminiscent of traditional stuf peppers, while the tomatoes add a sweet and flavorful element.

Additionally, the rice in this soup gives it a lovely texture and fills it out with body.

Ingredients:

Half kilo Italian sausage

1/2 pound lean ground beef

1 small onion finely chopped

1 green bell pepper finely chop

1 finely chop bell pepper

3 crush garlic cloves

4 c low sodium beef broth

2 c low sodium chicken or vegetable broth

1 can (14.5 oz) tomato sauce

3/4 cup raw rice (I using jasmine)

Kosher salt and black pepper

Instructions:

In a saucepan or casserole plate on medium heat brown the Italian sausage also ground beef; Break up as you go.

Halfway through cooking adding onions also peppers. stirring several times. During  last minute of browning reduce the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic stir constantly. Drain excess fat.

Adding beef broth chicken broth also tomatoes to the sauce and bring to a boil. Simmer 15 min .

Adding the rice and cover well. Cover and cook for 5 to 7 min or until the rice is tender. For great results apply quickly. Seasoning with kosher salt also ground black pepper to taste.
