Ingredients

  • For the Spaghetti:
  • 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound (450 g) ground beef or Italian sausage (or a mix of both)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • For the Cream Cheese Mixture:
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • For Topping:
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Spaghetti:
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
