Slow Cooked Chicken & Gravy

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for slow-cooked chicken and gravy!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet (1 oz) brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cream of chicken soup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or mashed potatoes (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place them in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the Sauces: In a bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, chicken broth, and cream of chicken soup (if using). Stir until well mixed.
  3. Combine and Cook: Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  4. Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
