What You Need:

  • 1 pound of ground beef (450 grams)
  • 1 finely minced yellow onion
  • 1 cup (1 kilogram) of frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon of oil for cooking (such as olive oil)
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • 1 diced tomato
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • 1 cup (240 milliliters) of vegetable stock (or any stock)
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric-based flour
  • 4-5 peeled and sliced potatoes
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Get the ingredients ready: Mince the garlic, slice the potatoes, chop the onion, carrot, and tomato.
  2. Temper ground beef: Sauté the onion in olive oil until soft. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Season with chili powder, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley.
