Creamy Broccoli and Chicken Pasta Bake

Ingredients

For the Pasta Bake:

  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 cup cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook Pasta:
    Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare Broccoli:
    If using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch it for a few minutes until tender. If using frozen, simply thaw it.
  4. Make the Sauce:
    In a large bowl, combine the cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir in the cooked chicken, broccoli, and cooked pasta.
