Ingredients:

For the Bread:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two loaf pans.
  2. Mix the Batter:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well blended.
  • Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  1. Prepare the Cinnamon Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
  2. Layer the Batter:
  • Pour half of the batter into each loaf pan.
  • Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over the batter in each pan.
  • Add the remaining batter on top, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
  1. Swirl: Use a knife to gently swirl the batter and cinnamon mixture together for a marbled effect.
  2. Bake: Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Cool: Let the bread cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
