Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
Ingredients
- For the sliders:
- 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak (or sirloin)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 medium bell pepper, sliced (any color)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 slices provolone cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 12 slider buns (hawaiian rolls or similar)
- For the topping:
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the steak and veggies:
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking until they are soft and slightly caramelized (about 5-7 minutes).
- Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until the steak is browned and cooked through (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
- Assemble the sliders:
- Slice the slider buns in half (keeping them connected) and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
