Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup walnuts (chopped)

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp milk (to thin, if needed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
  • In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • Add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
